Megan graduated in May 2015 from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke with a Bachelors Degree in Exercise Sports Science. She first came to Champions Sports Performance in February of 2016 after completing an internship as the Sports Marketing Coordinator at Wake Forest University.
Megan grew up in Mooresville, North Carolina and attended Mooresville High School. While in high school she was a three sport athlete playing volleyball, basketball and softball. Megan excelled in the sport of softball and accepted a scholarship to UNCP. While at UNCP, Megan was a four year starter and set a school record with 892 putouts in a single season. Megan began working as the advertising designer for the school newspaper, The Pineneedle, and was chosen to be the undergraduate Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach.
After graduating UNCP, Megan continued working in athletics at Wake Forest University. She worked along side the sports marketing team and coordinated all Wake Forest home games. While at Wake Forest, Megan also interned with Wake Forest’s Strength and Conditioning program working specifically with the women’s volleyball team in the summer of 2015. As Megan continues to grow as a Marketing Coordinator and Performance Coach, her main goal is to inspire and motivate young athletes to not only succeed in their sport but to succeed in life!
